The flow of “I’m God” never fails to calm me down and bring peace to my ears.Īlthough not including many lyrics, there is a presence of soothing vocals throughout its entirety. I imagine tons of flowers blooming as the vocals fade out and the unexpected, blissful drop of beautiful bass, drums, and snares all congregate towards one another. The track begins to blossom like a time-lapse of a growing flower, the stem grows up similar to the gentle vocals at the beginning. “I’m God” starts off with the distant, echoing voice that slowly grows louder, “ How did you know? It’s what I’ve always wanted… Could never have too many of these“. Creator and embodier of Clams Casino himself, Michael Volpe, has since then released so much music including featured artists popular in modern-day music such as Vince Staples and A$AP Rocky. I first heard the track five years ago, and ever since then it has been one of my favorite go-to tracks. Some of you might recognize the purely angelic track “ I’m God” by Clams Casino, but I like to think of it as a hidden wonder. Clams Casino’s vibe has always caught my ear, but I didn’t fall in love until I heard “I’m God”, released way back in 2011.
